The New England Patriots lost the coin toss against the Chicago Bears and as a result received the opening kickoff. The team made the most out of it by marching 75 yards in eight plays to take a 7-0 lead on this scoring pass from Tom Brady to Julian Edelman:

The pass capped a drive that was dominated by New England’s running backs until the team reached the end zone: Sony Michel received three touches for 37 yards, James White touched the football twice to gain 20 yards. As the Patriots got closer to the end zone, Edelman caught his first pass, before his second allowed the team to take an early lead.
One negative for New England: wide receiver Chris Hogan was rolled up on from behind and had to get his knee checked out. He walked off the field under his own power, though, and is currently on a stationary bike on the sidelines.
