NFL: New England Patriots at Buffalo Bills Timothy T. Ludwig-USA TODAY Sports

The New England Patriots defeated the Buffalo Bills to move to 6-2 at the season’s halfway point, but the victory was far from pretty. While the Bills have been pretty hapless this year, the vaunted Patriots offense struggled to put up points. How come?

Give credit to Buffalo as they had the perfect defensive game plan- and if they had even an average offense, they could have walked away with a victory.

But the Patriots won, the rest of the AFC East lost, and New England is cruising towards what should be yet another division title. The AFC playoff picture already looks set.
