Week 5 Patriots vs Colts: Jonathan Jones interception sets up Sony Michel touchdown run

After the Indianapolis Colts came close to the New England Patriots early in the second half, the home team is back in control: after Tom Brady and Josh Gordon added to the team’s seven-point lead cornerback Jonathan Jones and running back Sony Michel teamed up to increase New England’s lead even more.

First, New England’s defense made a big play: a pass breakup by Jason McCourty allowed Jonathan Jones to pick off Andrew Luck and return the pick 28 yards to the Colts 34-yard line:

On the very next play, first-round rookie running back Sony Michel found the end zone:

The 34-yard run is the rookie’s second touchdown of his career and caps another impressive performance. Overall, Michel has carried the football 16 times for 92 yards and that one score.
