The New England Patriots took care of business against the Indianapolis Colts on Thursday Night Football and set up a favorable weekend for the good guys. After a slow start over the first three weeks, the Patriots back in first place in the division and have the inside edge on winning a millionth consecutive AFC East title.
On offense, Julian Edelman returned and the impact to the rest of the skill players was obvious as everyone saw favorable match-ups against a banged-up Colts defense. Josh Gordon helped Tom Brady set a record and Sony Michel continued to improve.
On defense, Jason McCourty is a stud opposite of Stephon Gilmore, while Devin McCourty struggled in coverage of tight ends- which is a major red flag with the Kansas City Chiefs and Travis Kelce coming to town next week.
