The New England Patriots and New York Jets were tied at 13 midway through the third quarter in what had been a highly-contested game up to that point. However, New England started to pull away after that thanks to some big plays by both the passing game and the team’s rushing attack led by first-round rookie Sony Michel.
After the Patriots went up 20-13 and forced a Jets punt, it was Michel who carried the load. He started with a 33-yard scamper that put him over 100 on the day:

New England marched down to the goal line after Michel’s long run and turned to the rookie to finish the drive. After a would-be score was overturned on second down, the 23-year old finally found the end zone one play later:

The touchdown is Michel’s first of the day while the rookie currently sits at 133 rushing yards on 21 attempts. He is having a spectacular day so far.
