Week 9 Monday Night Football Titans at Cowboys: Patriots rooting guide and open thread

The (3-4) Tennessee Titans are on the road to face the (3-4) Dallas Cowboys in a Monday Night Football showdown that is certain to feature...some football. Both teams have great rushing attacks, but let’s be serious- these are two fringe Wild Card teams that are likely to be home in January.

The New England Patriots want the Titans to win for the sake of strength of schedule, although it would be best if this game went to overtime and Tennessee were exhausted at the final whistle. The Patriots play the Titans next week in Tennessee and it would be better for the Titans to play as much as possible heading into a short week.

Kickoff is at 8:15 PM ET and the game will be on ESPN.
