The New England Patriots and Pittsburgh Steelers released their second injury report of the week and there weren’t many changes for the Patriots- while four Pittsburgh players returned to full strength.
Here’s the full report below.
Did not participate
Steelers: RB James Conner (ankle), OT Marcus Gilbert (knee)
Conner is a key component of the Steelers offense, while Gilbert is the Steelers starting right tackle. The Steelers are 2-5 when they rush for 80 or fewer yards (40 yards last week with Conner sidelined), so Pittsburgh will clearly be weaker if neither is able to play on Sunday.
Limited participation
None
Neither team had any player limited.
Full participation
Patriots: TE Dwayne Allen (knee), CB Stephon Gilmore (ankle)
Steelers: QB Ben Roethlisberger (ribs), CB Mike Hilton (knee), LB Anthony Chickillo (ankle), OC Maurkice Pouncey (coaches decision)
Allen and Gilmore remain full participants, a good sign for their availability on Sunday.
Roethlisberger, Hilton, and Pouncey did not practice on Wednesday, but returned in full capacity on Thursday, while Chickillo was limited on Wednesday and made a full return.
