The (9-5) New England Patriots host the (5-9) Buffalo Bills in week 16 and both teams released the first practice report of the week. The Patriots continue to get healthier (although they haven’t been winning), while the Bills are on the opposite end of the spectrum.
Here’s the full report.
Did Not Practice
Bills: CB Ryan Lewis (concussion), DT Kyle Williams (back)
Williams has been a stalwart for the Bills defense for the longest time and his health is worth monitoring. Lewis is a depth cornerback for the Bills.
Limited Practicipation
Patriots: LB Brandon King (knee)
Bills: FB Patrick DiMarco (ankle), K Stephen Hauschka (right hip), RB Chris Ivory (shoulder), RB LeSean McCoy (hamstring), WR Isaiah McKenzie (ankle), DE Trent Murphy (chest), TE Logan Thomas (hamstring), LB Corey Thompson (ankle)
King is the lone Patriot listed on the injury report. He’s a core special teams player and hopefully he can play.
The Bills have eight players limited, including two of their three most-productive players on offense in McCoy and Ivory. Both running backs were unavailable last week, but it wouldn’t be a surprise if at least one were available on Sunday. The Patriots need to be at full strength in their defensive front seven regardless of whichever Bills running back plays.
