The New England Patriots are not playing a perfect game — especially on the offensive side of the ball —, but they are still up 14-0 against the visiting Buffalo Bills. The main reasons for that are a stout defensive performance as well as New England dominating on the ground on offense: midway through the second quarter, the Patriots have already amassed 149 rushing yards.
27 of those yards came on this touchdown run by James White:

After a quiet few weeks, James White is back to playing a pivotal role in New England’s offense. So far during the game, the 26-year old has already touched the football five times for 46 yards and the touchdown above. Together with Sony Michel, Rex Burkhead and Cordarrelle Patterson, White and the Patriots are dominating Buffalo on the ground and dominating the tempo of the game.
New England’s defense also made a big play in the second quarter, as rookie cornerback J.C. Jackson registered an interception. Unfortunately, the Patriots could not turn it into points and instead gave the football right back on a pick of their own.
