New England Patriots defensive back Devin McCourty left Sunday’s game in the third quarter against the New York Jets with a head injury, per the team. He is questionable to return.

A “head injury” is code for “concussion,” so hopefully McCourty is okay. McCourty rarely comes off the field and his absence will be felt. His twin brother Jason McCourty appears to be playing more, as does Duron Harmon, with Devin sidelined.
If the Patriots are able to hold on to their lead, they will get a bye week and McCourty shouldn’t miss any time. Hopefully he can return.
UPDATE: McCourty has been downgraded to “OUT”.
