New England Patriots cornerback Malcolm Butler is a pending free agent and will be one of the top cornerbacks on the market. While the Patriots handed the big-money contract to Stephon Gilmore last offseason, Butler still thinks there could still be room for him in New England.

When asked whether he wishes to stay with the Patriots in 2018, Butler said, “Without a doubt. Without a doubt,” but that his focus was on the Super Bowl instead of on free agency.

There are a few teams that could be willing to give Butler more money than the Patriots are in free agency, like the Cleveland Browns, Indianapolis Colts, and San Francisco 49ers, but maybe Butler would take a small pay cut to stay in New England.
