The New England Patriots are down 9-3 in Super Bowl 52 against the Philadelphia Eagles. To make matters worse, the team could have just lost its number one wide receiver to injury: After a 23-yard completion by Tom Brady, wide receiver Brandin Cooks was hit from the blindside by Malcolm Jenkinks:

The wide receiver stayed on the ground and walked off the field under his own power. Unfortunately, he walked straight to the locker room.
UPDATE: Cooks is done for the day with his head injury.
#Patriots injury update: Brandin Cooks (head) has been ruled out for the game.
