In January, it has been reported that New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady will be the subject of a documentary that will give an intimate behind-the-scenes look at the NFL’s biggest star – one that is coincidentally the face of the league’s most seclusive franchise: The series Tom vs Time chronicles Brady’s fight against football mortality in six episodes.
The first five of those episodes premiered over the course of the two weeks leading up to Super Bowl LII – since the game, however, it took more than a month for the show's finale to go online. Now, “The End Game” has finally been released and it takes a look at the Super Bowl and how Brady deals with the Patriots' 41-33 loss on the game's biggest stage.
“In the end, the Patriots fan in me didn’t get the storybook ending I desperately craved for our series Tom vs Time,” the show's creator Gotham Chopra said about the series' finale. “But instead I got a moment in which our main hero – Tom – would learn something pretty valuable in the loss. Hard to lament too much about that.”
