Details have already emerged on the new two-year deal stuck between the Patriots and special teams ace Nate Ebner.
According to the Boston Globe’s Ben Volin, the deal has a total value of $5 million.

Ebner, who tore his ACL in the team’s ninth contest of the 2017 season, will carry a 2018 cap figure of $2.025 million — which ranks 23rd on the team. His 2019 cap figure currently stands at $2.8 million.
Between Ebner and fellow special teams stalwart Brandon King, the Patriots have committed $7.6 million in cash over the next two years to sure up a unit that consisently leads the best in NFL discussion.
The deal brings to Patriots available 2018 cap space number to a shade under $20 million.
