Players on the New England Patriots were excited to celebrate the 2018 NFL Draft as both a reminder of how far they’ve come since they’ve entered the league and to welcome their newest teammates into the fold.
Here’s what the Patriots players were saying on day one of the draft.
A Trip Down Memory Lane
To all of the athletes entering the draft today is a special day that you will remember for the rest of your life. This day will be filled with tons of emotions. Remember it doesn’t matter where or when you go and only matters what you do when you get there. #NFLDraft18— Deatrich wise (@wisehog94) April 26, 2018
Nine years ago today my life changed forever. New England took a chance on a long shot and I’ve worked relentlessly ever since to prove that it was the right decision. Good luck to all the 2018 prospects. #Tbt #NFLDraft pic.twitter.com/8vcwORURsc— Julian Edelman (@Edelman11) April 26, 2018
