The New England Patriots added former Baltimore Ravens and Jacksonville Jaguars offensive lineman Luke Bowanko, per ESPN’s Field Yates.

The 6’6, 300 pound Bowanko is a former sixth-round pick that spent his first three seasons with the Jaguars before being traded to the Ravens. He has 15 starts in 39 games and has played all along the line. He suffered a series of injuries that limited him to seven games combined in 2015 and 2016, but he was relatively healthy in 2017 and played 90 snaps.

The Patriots needed some depth on their offensive line and while Bowanko shouldn’t push either Joe Thuney or Shaq Mason for time on the field, he’ll provide solid competition to Matt Tobin, Ted Karras, and Cole Croston.
