Tom Brady and Julian Edelman reportedly working out together at Patriots facilities

The duo is already working on its chemistry.

Officially, the New England Patriots' offseason workout program will not be kicked off until April 16. Some players, however, are already visiting the team's Gillette Stadium regularly to get an early start. Among them are two of the team's most valuable offensive players, as ESPN Boston's Mike Reiss reports in his Sunday quick-hit NFL thoughts: quarterback Tom Brady and wide receiver Julian Edelman.

Brady and Edelman are not strangers to working out together. The duo, which connected on almost 500 passes since the wideout joined the team in 2009, has been working out both in California and Brady's hideout in Montana – as can be seen in episode three of the Tom vs Time documentary – over the years. It is therefore no surprise to see them continue doing more of the same in 2018.

After all, the Brady-Edelman connection is once more projected to be a productive one in 2018: Despite working his way back from an ACL tear he suffered last August – an injury that forced him to sit out the entire 2017 season –, Edelman will likely play a key role within the Patriots' offense again as fellow receivers Brandin Cooks and Danny Amendola will not be coming back this year.
