Stop me if you’ve heard this before: the New England Patriots are favorites to win the AFC East.
The Patriots have won the AFC East for nine-straight years and for 14 of the past 15 years (2008 the lone exception), so it should be no surprise that the team is projected to once again win the crown.
The other three teams in the division all seemed to take a step backwards, or agreed to tread water in the hopes that the Patriots would shown signs of decline for 2020.
As a result, the Patriots have 2/15 odds of winning the division, while the Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins are tied with 12/1 odds and the New York Jets bring up the rear with 14/1 odds. When you account for the vig, the Patriots have an 80% chance of winning the division, while the Bills and Dolphins have a 7% chance and the Jets have a 6% chance.
Here are the projected divisional leaders according to oddsmaker Bovada.
