Don’t worry, Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski are in New England!

The Patriots’ star duo will attend camp.

After much discussion about their availability over the past month, the New England Patriots All Pro duo of Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski are back in New England and appear ready to work with the team.

Both Brady and Gronkowski have stayed away from the team’s offseason workouts, but the Patriots tweeted images of both players at the franchise’s Fantasy Camp ahead of minicamp.

Both Brady and Gronkowski are fishing for new contracts and decided to stay away from the optional offseason workouts- a not-unreasonable decision based on the risk of injury. Brady wants and extension that would secure his position with the team beyond the 2019 season, while Gronkowski is likely looking for the opportunity to make more cash in 2018, just like how he received production incentives last season.

The Patriots are obviously better with both players on the practice field and I’m sure we’ll hear justifications directly from the players. What are the odds on, “I’m just doing what’s best for my preparation for the 2018 season,” as the first response?
