Injury update: Kenny Britt could be limited for the rest of camp

But the team is hopeful.

New England Patriots wide receiver Kenny Britt pulled up limping in the middle of Tuesday’s minicamp practice and ESPN’s Mike Reiss has the injury update.

With third-year wide receiver Malcolm Mitchell sidelined from practice, Britt projected to be the team’s top outside wide receiver- assuming Chris Hogan continues to flex both inside and outside like he has over the past two seasons. Britt could have used a strong minicamp period to establish his position on the depth chart.

Instead, Britt will have to recover from this injury and if he is limited he is unlikely to create any separation over his competition. Britt will try to flash his 1,000+ yard receiving ability later in the summer.
