After months of speculation and rumors, the New England Patriots' two biggest stars rejoined their teammates on the practice fields today: Quarterback Tom Brady and tight end Rob Gronkowski returned after sitting out all of the Patriots' voluntary offseason work. Now that practices have become mandatory, the two future Hall of Famers are back – and needless to say that their return was highly anticipated.
Around 90 media members were present for the session and to capture the first on-field images of Brady and Gronkowski since New England's defeat in Super Bowl 52. Among those present for the workout is NBC Boston's camera crew, who captured the following video of the two superstars taking the field:
