The players were not wearing pads, the hitting was not yet taking place, the team sessions were mostly used for teaching – but football is back in New England: yesterday, the Patriots opened their 2018 training camp by holding a two-hour session on the fields behind Gillette Stadium. As usual during the early portions of camp, practice was open to fans and as has been the case in the past, thousands showed up.
They, together with the media representatives present for the session and the team’s social media team, were busy watching the team – and oftentimes also capturing it on film. Make sure to check out these clips to get an impression of what took place yesterday, and what to expect moving forward.
