After a lackluster performance yesterday, the New England Patriots are already on to their next game. But while the team has set its sights on the Detroit Lions – and apparently wide receiver Josh Gordon even before that –, the NFL’s second week is not yet over: tonight, the Chicago Bears will host the Seattle Seahawks in a battle of two winless teams.

Patriots rooting guide
While both teams are playing in the NFC and therefore have minimal impact on the Patriots’ 2018 season as it stands right now, New England still has a clear rooting interest with the future in mind: during this year’s draft, the Patriots traded away their second-round selection to the Bears in exchange for two draft picks – one of them Chicago’s 2019 second-rounder. Naturally, the Patriots want this pick to come as early as possible on day two and a Seahawks win tonight should help. Go Seattle!
