While the New England Patriots’ busy weekend is slowly coming to an end, the team is still making moves. The latest series of transactions sees the Patriots adding four more players to their practice squad, according to multiple reports from Foxboro:

CB Jomal Wiltz

OL Cole Croston

OL James Ferentz

DE Trent Harris

All four players were released by the Patriots yesterday, but were back in the building today for the first practice session of the regular season – indicating that New England added them to their practice squad.

All four players give the team additional depth at their respective positions, with Croston and Ferentz potential candidates to get promoted to the active roster at one point over the next week. After all, position coach Dante Scarnecchia said earlier today that the team will carry at least eight offensive linemen on its opening day roster. At the moment, seven linemen are under contract with the active team.

The four new additions join the five players that have already been reported to be on the practice squad:

QB Danny Etling

DT Vincent Valentine

LB Harvey Langi

RB Ralph Webb

WR Riley McCarron

New England has one open spot left on its practice squad.
