The New England Patriots released their second injury report of week 3 as they prepare to face the Detroit Lions. There’s a new face included on both sides, but the rest of the report is the exact same as Wednesday’s.

Did Not Participate

Patriots: S Patrick Chung (concussion), DE Trey Flowers (concussion)

Lions: OL Andrew Donnal (knee), CB Darius Slay (concussion)

If Chung and Flowers do not practice on Friday, they are very unlikely to play on Sunday, greatly weakening the new England defense.

Limited Participation

Patriots: OT Marcus Cannon (calf), CB Keion Crossen (hamstring), S Nate Ebner (hip), WR Josh Gordon (hamstring), TE Rob Gronkowski (ankle), CB Eric Rowe (groin)

Lions: CB Jamal Agnew (shoulder), DE Ezekiel Ansah (shoulder), LB Eli Harold (hip), OG T.J. Lang (back)

Gordon remains limited with his hamstring injury, while Rowe is limited with his groin injury. Gronkowski is the big name to monitor as he is the biggest weapon on the Patriots offense and his absence would greatly reduce the team’s production.

On the other side, linebacker Eli Harold was added with a hip injury.

Full Participation

Patriots: RB Sony Michel (knee), DE Deatrich Wise (finger)

Both players continued to be full participants.
