The New England Patriots face the Miami Dolphins on Sunday in a sadly high-stakes game in week 4. The Patriots are incredibly banged up, as are the Dolphins, but Friday’s injury report cleared six of the 24 players on Thursday’s report.
OUT
Dolphins: LB Chase Allen (foot), DE Andre Branch (knee), TE A.J. Derby (foot)
Three Dolphins are out, but no Patriots are declared unavailable for Sunday.
QUESTIONABLE
Patriots: OT Marcus Cannon (calf), SS Patrick Chung (concussion), CB Keion Crossen (hamstring), SS Nate Ebner (hip), DE Trey Flowers (concussion), WR Josh Gordon (hamstring), DE Geneo Grissom (ankle), TE Rob Gronkowski (ankle), TE Jacob Hollister (chest), LB Brandon King (foot), CB Eric Rowe (groin)
Dolphins: DT Davon Godchaux (ankle), FS Reshad Jones (shoulder), WR DeVante Parker (quadricep), DE Cameron Wake (knee), OT Sam Young (shoulder)
Defensive tackle Danny Shelton was removed from the injury report, while Eric Rowe returned to practice. Look for all of these players to be considered “game time decisions”, with Chung, Flowers, and Gronkowski likely to play.
Jones and Wake are two crucial pieces of the Miami defense and their availability deserves monitoring.
