The 2018 NFL season kicks off with the defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles hosting the former Super Bowl losing Atlanta Falcons. Both teams faced the New England Patriots in their respective Super Bowls.

Kickoff was supposed to be at 8:20 PM but was postponed due to lightning. The projected starting time is 9:05 PM.
