In two days, the New England Patriots and the Los Angeles Chargers will meet in the divisional round of the playoffs — and as a look at the final injury reports released earlier today shows, both teams are pretty healthy heading into the contest: all in all, only five players are listed, just one of which a member of the Patriots.
It’s important to note that both the Chargers removed a few extremely important players from their injury report. Running back Melvin Gordon (knee) is no longer listed, and neither is safety Jahleel Addae (shoulder) or center Mike Pouncey (thumb).
OUT
Patriots: None
Chargers: None
Neither team has listed any players as being out for Sunday’s game, although that could be subject to change on Saturday. We will also keep an eye out for any travel updates from the Chargers to see if any of their questionable players can be counted out.
QUESTIONABLE
Patriots: DE Deatrich Wise Jr. (ankle)
Chargers: CB Brandon Facyson (concussion), TE Hunter Henry (knee), FB Derek Watt (shoulder), LB Kyle Wilson (concussion)
Wise is the only Patriots player on the injury report and should be a game-time decision.
Chargers defenders Facyson and Wilson are dealing with concussions, so we’ll see if they’re cleared to play on Sunday. Henry hasn’t played all year after tearing his ACL in May and will most certainly be limited if he’s able to play.
