The New England Patriots are blowing the doors open against the Los Angeles Chargers early on during their divisional playoff game — and is turning this game into a blowout in the second quarter. After finding the endzone on their first three possessions, the team went 4-of-4 on their next one.
The drive itself featured plenty of heavy running by New England, with the biggest play being a 40-yard scamper by first-round rookie Sony Michel:

Michel, who already scored two touchdowns in the first quarter, set the Patriots up in the red zone again. Another running back finished the series: Rex Burkhead scored on a 2nd and goal from the 6-yard line:

Burkhead, who reached the end zone thanks to a tremendous block from tight end Rob Gronkowski on the perimeter, is one of four players on the Patriots to score his first postseason touchdown today. The rookie Michel, of course, has not scored before, and so did wide receiver Phillip Dorsett.
