The New England Patriots are rolling over the Los Angeles Chargers in the first half of the two teams’ divisional round meeting. After scoring on each of their first four possessions, the Patriots failed to pick up a first down late in the second quarter — but even made big play on the ensuing punt. Chargers returnman Desmond King muffed the catch and the Patriots’ Albert McClellan fell onto the loose football for the recovery.
Four plays after the takeaway, New England was in the end zone again. Once more it was Sony Michel to add points to the Patriots’ total:

The first-round rookie is having an outstanding first half to his first-ever playoff game, rushing for more than 100 yards on the ground and scoring three times. All in all, the Patriots continue their domination and are already in blowout mode before the first half is even over. While the Chargers are a dangerous team still, New England seems to be in total control at this point.
