The New England Patriots and Los Angeles Rams released their first injury report of the final week of the season (it’s hard to believe!). The Patriots added their first injury to the report since the Wednesday prior to the AFC Championship Game, while the Rams’ injuries have remained consistent.

Here’s the report.

Did Not Practice

Rams: S Blake Countess (foot)

Countess remains injured and it is unknown if he will play in the Super Bowl.

Limited Practice

Patriots: DT Malcom Brown (calf)

Rams: K Greg Zuerlein (left foot)

Brown was at practice wearing his helmet but spent most of the session on the sideline,” pool reporter Jenny Vrentas wrote.

“He did some stuff early in practice today,” Belichick said of Brown. “Everybody else was good to go.”

Hopefully Brown will be able to shake off this injury in time for the big game because the Patriots will need all hands on deck to stop the Rams rushing attack.

As for the Rams, Zuerlein is one of their most important players and his ongoing injury is worth monitoring. He should be able to play, but there are reasonable concerns about what this injury means for his effectiveness.
