The New England Patriots have not seen a Super Bowl halftime show since February 2016, so all some of their players know is rewinds or stories. This time around will be more of the same: the team will be in the locker room halfway through its game against the Los Angeles Rams while Maroon 5 and their guests will be entertaining audiences at Mercedes-Benz Stadium and in front of television sets across the globe.

With that in mind, we asked some of the Patriots’ players to share their choices on who would be their halftime act if they could book any artist they want dead or alive. Migos, themselves hailing from Georgia, were a popular pick as was fellow rapper J. Cole. Others named included country musician Shooter Jennings, rapper Gucci Mane, and Beyoncé.

And now that you know the Patriots’ answers, who would you pick to perform the Super Bowl halftime show if you could choose any artist you’d like?
