The New England Patriots don’t play until next week, but they’ll have their eyes on Sunday’s early game.
The Indianapolis Colts will go on the road to play the Kansas City Chiefs in the divisional round, while the winner of today’s game will come to New England to play the Patriots.
1:05 PM ET: Chargers at Ravens on CBS
According to our FanPulse survey, 66% of SB Nation readers believe the Chargers will win.
The Patriots want the weaker team to win this game, so they’ll probably want the Ravens to pull off the upset at home. Both teams have strong defenses, but the Chargers have the stronger offense. Baltimore relies heavily on rookie quarterback Lamar Jackson to make plays with his legs and if the Patriots can contain him, they’ll likely walk away with the win.
4:40 PM ET: Eagles at Bears on NBC
According to our FanPulse survey, 77% of SB Nation readers believe the Bears will win.
This game doesn’t matter to the Patriots, but they’ll likely want the Bears to get knocked out because New England owns their second round pick and the earlier the Bears are eliminated, the better the draft pick will be.
