The New England Patriots watched a worst-case scenario unfold over Wild Card Weekend.

On Saturday, the Indianapolis Colts went on the road and wiped out the Houston Texans, the easiest of the Patriots’ potential divisional round opponents. This result puts the sixth seed Colts on the road against the powerhouse Kansas City Chiefs.

And then on Sunday, the Los Angeles Chargers, the second-best team in the AFC by winning record and the best road team in the NFL, defeated the Baltimore Ravens. The Patriots will now have to play the Chargers in the divisional round.

Woof...right? Or is it as bad as it seems? Are the Colts far better than we give them credit for after they’ve won 10 of their past 11 games? And can the Chargers handle another east coast trip in the (projected) snow?

Alec and Rich cover it all. This podcast is available in the iTunes store, Stitcher, TuneIn, BluBrry, Podcast Mirror and via RSS Feed. Please subscribe and comment on what you want to hear about in future podcasts!
