The New England Patriots will not enter Week 11 until Sunday, when the team goes on the road to take on the Philadelphia Eagles. This means that tonight’s contest between two AFC North rivals is a pretty relaxed affair. But does the game still have some meaning for the Patriots? And who should their fans root for? Let’s find out:
Pittsburgh Steelers (5-4) at Cleveland Browns (3-6)
When: 8:20 p.m. ET
Where: FirstEnergy Stadium, Cleveland OH
Television: Fox, NFL Network
Live streaming: fuboTV (sign up here)
SB Nation coverage: Behind The Steel Curtain (Steelers), Dawgs By Nature (Browns)
Patriots rooting guide: Go Steelers! The Patriots have already defeated both teams this season, so they would have the tiebreaker over both in case it becomes relevant. With Cleveland at 3-6, however, only the Steelers still seem to have a realistic shot at making the postseason at this point in time but even they are not a true threat at stealing a first-round bye from New England — which is why we are rooting for Pittsburgh tonight, if only for the draft pick the Miami Dolphins received for Minkah Fitzpatrick to come fairly late in the first round next year.
