Coming out of their bye week, the New England Patriots kick off a tough four-game stretch against some of the NFL’s best teams on Sunday: the reigning world champions, who are sitting atop the AFC with an 8-1 record, will head on the road to Philadelphia to take on an Eagles team very much fighting for a spot in a crowded NFC playoff field. The playoff implications on both sides plus the fact the game is a rematch of Super Bowl 52 will make for some intriguing football.
With all that in mind, let’s find out how to actually follow the contest:

FanPulse
Entering Week 11, the Patriots’ fan base remains among the most confident in the NFL despite the team no longer being perfect: 89% of participants in SB Nation’s FanPulse survey have a positive attitude about the direction in which the team was headed. The confidence score actually went up five points over the bye week, which means that New England’s fans rank as the fourth most confident in the league.
Philadelphia’s followers, meanwhile, are not quite as confident: only 45% of participants think that the team is headed in the right direction even though it currently has a winning record and is tied for first place in the NFC East, only losing out to the Dallas Cowboys on a tiebreaker. All in all, though, 45% is not that bad a number considering that the confidence of Eagles fans has been all over the place this season — from 99% in Week 1 to 7% in Week 8.
New England’s fan base, meanwhile, is trailing only three other teams when it comes to optimism. The Baltimore Ravens, who defeated the Patriots two weeks ago, enjoy universal approval for their course and top the ranking at 100%. In second place are the San Francisco 49ers, who also recently dropped from the ranks of the unbeaten teams and are now at 97%, followed by the Oakland Raiders and their 90% confidence score.
