The final practice of the week included a full 53-man roster for the New England Patriots.
But seven were limited participants. And all seven, including core special-teamer Nate Ebner, who returned to the fields behind Gillette Stadium on Friday, are officially questionable for the 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff against the Philadelphia Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field.
Here’s the full Week 11 injury report between New England and Philadelphia.
OUT
- Patriots: no players listed
- Eagles: WR Alshon Jeffery (ankle), LB Nigel Bradham (ankle)
Ankle and back injuries twice kept the aforementioned Ebner absent from Patriots practice this week. But the reserve safety, who ranks fourth in the kicking game in snaps, has been kept in contention to play on Sunday.
Both Jeffery and Bradham missed each practice for Philadelphia this week due to ankle injuries. The former’s game status will leave the Eagles with Jordan Matthews, Nelson Agholor, Mack Hollins and J.J. Arcega-Whiteside at wide receiver versus New England. And while unlisted, Philadelphia placed running back Darren Spoles on injured reserve to close the week. Sproles appeared on the injury report as a non-participant Thursday with a quad injury. The 15-year pro has been diagnosed with a torn hip flexor, the organization announced.
QUESTIONABLE
- Patriots: RB Damien Harris (hamstring), WR Gunner Olszewski (ankle/hamstring), TE Matt LaCosse (knee), DT Danny Shelton (ankle), DE John Simon (elbow), S Patrick Chung (heel/chest), S Nate Ebner (ankle/back)
- Eagles: RB Jordan Howard (shoulder)
Rookies in Harris and Olszewski were added to New England’s injury report on Friday, while veterans in Shelton and Simon were added over the days prior. Both members of the defensive front continued to practice in a limited fashion for the Patriots before garnering the questionable designation. Shelton and Simon have combined for 53 tackles and five sacks while playing 45 percent of the downs apiece.
As for the Eagles’ lone 50-50 player, Howard remained limited at practice Friday. The ex-Chicago Bear has rushed for 594 yards and six touchdowns this season, yet his shoulder injury could hand second-round pick Miles Sanders the reins against New England. Philadelphia removed left tackle Jason Peters from the injury report after the 37-year-old practiced in full. Peters last played on Oct. 13, and underwent arthroscopic knee surgery during his absence from the lineup.
