The New England Patriots defeated the Philadelphia Eagles in week 11 to move to 9-1 on the season and get back on track after their poor performance before the bye week.
While the Patriots were unable to pick up any games of a lead against their competition in the AFC this week, the defense got back in championship form, a positive development. Stephon Gilmore and the secondary erased the Eagles receivers, and Danny Shelton and Lawrence Guy stepped up to stop the rushing attack in the second half of the game.
But while the defense excelled, what’s the deal with the Patriots offense? They have put together one good game since week 3 (Week 5 vs Washington), and have looked merely average for all the other games. Is Tom Brady okay? Are reinforcements on the way?
