The New England Patriots will not enter Week 15 until Sunday, when the team goes on the road to take on the Cincinnati Bengals. This means that tonight’s contest between two AFC squads is a pretty relaxed affair — and a chance to take a closer look at the potential top seed in the conference. But does the game have any real meaning for the Patriots? And who should their fans root for? Let’s find out:

New York Jets (5-8) at Baltimore Ravens (11-2)

When: 8:20 p.m. ET

Where: M&T Bank Stadium, Baltimore MD

Television: Fox, NFL Network

Live streaming: fuboTV (sign up here)

SB Nation coverage: Gang Green Nation (Jets), Baltimore Beatdown (Ravens)

Patriots rooting guide: Go Jets! While the Patriots’ chances of earning the number one seed in the AFC are slim — the team has lost the head-to-head matchup and also has lost one more game — a New York victory would at least keep the dream alive with two division games coming up for Baltimore. And as long as that is the case, New England fans should root against Baltimore no matter what.
