Mark Schofield helps you end your Thanksgiving-long weekend on a down note, in the wake of the New England Patriots’ 28-22 loss to the Houston Texans. In this “Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness” installment of The Scho Show, Mark breaks down the bad, the ugly and the silver linings from the Week 13 loss.

There was a lot of bad, beginning with a meaningless play before halftime that was sadly emblematic of the entire night. Even when trying to look big picture, things seem bleak as well, with the Baltimore Ravens playing extremely well and potential home-field advantage — and yes even the division — hanging in the balance.

The show ends with some silver linings, though, and then more big picture thoughts on whether this year could be similar to so many stories told before, as the Patriots try to figure out the “next ten words.”
