Eight New England Patriots were listed as questionable on the final injury report of December.
Running back Sony Michel has since become the ninth, the Patriots announced, due to an illness.
New England closes out the regular season versus the Miami Dolphins on Sunday.
Michel has appeared in every game thus far into his sophomore NFL campaign. The former No. 31 overall pick out of Georgia stands with 838 rushing yards and six touchdowns on 229 carries, along with 94 receiving yards on 12 catches.
The past two weeks have given way to 204 yards from scrimmage on 22 touches for Michel.
The Patriots’ backfield depth chart also includes James White, Rex Burkhead, Brandon Bolden and rookie Damien Harris, a third-round Alabama product who has twice been among the actives.
Kickoff between between New England and Miami is set for 1 p.m. ET at Gillette Stadium.
Wide receiver Julian Edelman, offensive tackle Marcus Cannon, defensive end Shilique Calhoun, linebackers Ja’Whaun Bentley and Jamie Collins, and defensive backs Jason McCourty, Jonathan Jones and Terrence Brooks join Michel as questionable.
