Welcome to this week’s Pats Pulpit postgame show, where Brian Phillips will talk about the New England Patriots’ 23-16 loss against the Kansas City Chiefs.
New England started the game well and took a 7-0 lead but the Chiefs were able to fight back in the second quarter to eventually went up 20-7 at the half. The Patriots as a whole played better in the last 30 minutes, but were still unable to climb out of what amounted to a 16-point deficit in the early third period. Ultimately, an incomplete pass on fourth down near the goal line sealed the deal for Kansas City and pushed New England to 10-3 on the year.
