No words are necessary, but tissues might be: ahead of his team’s Super Bowl 53 game against the Los Angeles Rams, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady released what might just be the best hype video of all time:
The bond never breaks. The brotherhood continues to grow. LFG pic.twitter.com/sNw7cyrV6M— Tedy Bruschi (@TedyBruschi) February 3, 2019
Just like he did in his two previous hype-up clips leading up to the divisional and championship playoff round, Brady once again recruited other athletes. This times, it is his former teammates that helped the Patriots win their first Super Bowl — 17 years ago against the then-St. Louis Rams. Willie McGinest, Tedy Bruschi, Ty Law, Lawyer Milloy, Troy Brown, and Kevin Faulk all participate and together with Brady speak the following text:
The bond’s between us, the belief in something larger than yourself makes a city, a team, a dream. It’s never about one person, one game, one play. Win or lose, we do it together. When you put on your uniform, you carry much more than the name on your back and the name on your front. You play for each other, for those that came before you, and for those that will come after you. When you put on your uniform, you carry the heartbeat of a city, a team, a dream that will live forever. Let’s go!
Are you ready yet?!
