The New England Patriots are on to their sixth championship celebration in the last 17 years, an unprecedented level of success for an NFL franchise especially in today’s era designed to bring parity to the league. However, the Patriots continue to defying norms and as a result are now able to celebrate once again sitting on top of the pro football world.
As a result of the team’s 13-3 victory over the Los Angeles Rams in Super Bowl 53, Boston can now celebrate its latest championship parade: it’s second in less than a year after the Boston Red Sox won pro baseball’s World Series in October. As usual, the parade route will lead the team up Boylston Street, then up Tremont Street and finally to its final destination at City Hall — for the third time in the last five years.
