For the third time in the last five years, the New England Patriots were back on the streets of Boston to celebrate a world championship. After defeating the Los Angeles Rams 13-3 on Super Bowl Sunday, the team earned the right to start the duck boats once again and be paraded through town. And even though the crowd is experienced when it comes to celebrations like this one, there were still thousands present on a picture perfect day.

New England’s faithful came out in hordes
With clear skies and temperatures in the 50s, thousands found their way to the streets of Boston to cheer on the world champion Patriots. Here are some of the best shots shared via Twitter:

The players liked it
New England’s players appeared to enjoy themselves and the interaction with the crowd, as evidenced by multiple shots from the photographers and TV cameras present. And what can be seen is that the “the Patriots are not having any fun” mantra preached by the Philadelphia Eagles’ Lane Johnson after they beat New England in last year’s Super Bowl couldn’t be farther from the truth:
Lane Johnson: “Do I think people enjoy and can say ‘I had a lot of fun playing there’? No, I don’t.”

New England’s general reactions were also overwhelmingly positive:

David Andrews had the time of his life
Starting center and team captain David Andrews especially seemed to enjoy the day as evidenced by him being one of the players to go shirtless...

Oh, and the fact that he celebrated in the crowd as well. Andrews was on fire today:

In general, the offensive line had a good time — and one of the most interesting duck boats to ride on: not only was Andrews on fire, it also saw also had Marcus Cannon dressing like a priest/bounty hunter straight from the Matrix, and characters from Bud Light commercials:

Bill Belichick was happy...
Normally stoic head coach Bill Belichick seemed to enjoy the event, which is a continuation of the entire week leading up to the game: Belichick appeared to be in a good mood all week, and he certainly was today:

...while Rob Gronkowski was in Gronk mode
Gronkowski started the day with a shirt and a bottle of wine in his hand. The wine quickly turned to beer...

Tom Brady’s daughter stole the show
Just like she did on Super Bowl Sunday, when the falling confetti was the best thing in the world at that moment, Tom Brady’s daughter Vivian was again in peak cuteness form during the parade:

Patriots fans stepped up their sign game...
The Super Bowl parade is not just the time for the players to celebrate but for fans to show their creativity when it comes to signs. There were some spectacular ones like this legal pad calling for punter Ryan Allen to win the MVP award (special shoutout to the guy re-using his “The Dodgers Are Bad” sheet):

Of course, other signs were noteworthy as well:

...and so did Elandon Roberts
The Patriots linebacker found one particular sign in the audience, took it an presented it to the world:
