As of approximately dinnertime on the east coast, the New England Patriots are down to one Flash.

First all our Malcolms leave, then one of our Flashes leaves, next thing you know we’ll be down to just two short white slot receivers.

Wait.

Jokes aside, Cordarrelle Patterson will be taking his talents to Chicago on a two-year deal, as reported by Tom Pelissero and confirmed by...Cordarrelle Patterson.

Patterson originally joined the Pats last offseason from the gift that keeps on giving, the Oakland Raiders, via a trade where New England sent a fifth-rounder for CP and a sixth-round pick from the Raiders. He made himself a cool $3.25 million in 2018 while he logged 21 grabs for 247 yards and hit the end zone 3 times through the air, while also carrying the rock 42 times for 228 yards and another score. Oh, and he did this in his new home of Soldier Field:

We’ll keep you guys updated if/when more info becomes available...or if Patterson pulls an Anthony Barr.
