Boston and the New England region have seen their big-four sports teams bring twelve championships home since the dawn of the century: the Patriots lead the way with six titles, followed by the Red Sox’ four, with the Celtics and Bruins having conquered one apiece. Today, the city’s NHL club could add another trophy to Boston’s already pretty full case: they are playing for the Stanley Cup tonight!

The Bruins and their opponent — the St. Louis Blues — are tied at three in this best-of-seven series, which means that we have a winner-take-it-all situation on our hands tonight. Needless to say, it will be a thriller.

Here’s all you need to know about the game:

Stanley Cup Game 7: Boston Bruins vs. St. Louis Blues

Game time: Wednesday, June 12; 8:00 p.m. ET

Location: TD Garden (Boston MA)

How to watch: NBC, CBC, TVAS, SportsNet

How to listen: 98.5 The Sports Hub

How to stream online: NBCSports.com, NBC Sports App

SB Nation affiliates: Stanley Cup of Chowder (Bruins) | St. Louis Game Time (Blues)

The Stanley Cup so far:

Boston 4 : 2 Blues (1-0 BOS)

Boston 2 : 3 Blues (1-1)

Boston 7 : 2 Blues (2-1 BOS)

Boston 2 : 4 Blues (2-2)

Boston 1 : 2 Blues (3-2 STL)

Boston 5 : 1 Blues (3-3)

As can be seen, the series has been a back-and-forth so far with St. Louis coming close to deciding it in six games but ultimately coming up short. Now, the Bruins therefore have a chance to capture their first title since the 2010-2011 season — and to do so in their home town.
