With Sony Michel still out and the Patriots focusing more on the running game today, Damien Harris saw plenty of action as the de facto lead running back. (source)

N’Keal Harry made the catch of the day, when he hauled in a jump ball with his finger tips while being pushed back by a defensive back. (source)

Matt LaCosse was the top option at a tight end position that got lighter yesterday due to the release of Austin Seferian-Jenkins. (source)

Maurice Harris continues to see considerable action alongside top wide receiver options. He caught all five passes thrown his way in team drills and looks like the most impressive wide receiver this week. (source)

With Isaiah Wynn still being held out of team drills, Joe Thuney remained at left tackle instead of his usual starting spot at left guard. His vacant spot was primarily filled by Brian . Schwenke today after Ted Karras was the starter on Tuesday. (source)

Tom Brady and N’Keal Harry continued to work on the side at one point, with Benjamin Watson and James White both joining them for portions of the private session. (source)

Jarrett Stidham was forced to run a penalty lap. (source)

Defense

The following players registered pass deflections today: Stephon Gilmore (2), Jamie Collins, Jonathan Jones, Malik Grant, Duron Harmon, Terrence Brooks. (source)

Jamie Collins was quite active during the session and reportedly looks like a key member of New England’s defense at this point. (source)

Stephon Gilmore once again saw plenty of N’Keal Harry, with the veteran cornerback locking down the rookie. (source)

With Patrick Chung still out, Obi Melifonwu saw some action with the starting defense. (source)

Rookie Byron Cowart saw some rotational action with the first-team defense during 11-on-11 drills. (source)

The defense would have registered between three and five sacks had live contact been allowed in 11-on-11 settings. (source)

Special teams

Julian Edelman, Braxton Berrios, Phillip Dorsett, Maurice Harris and Gunner Olszewski worked as the punt returners. (source)

Miscellaneous

Undrafted rookie Gunner Olszewski was again the first player spotted on the field today. (source)
