NFL: New England Patriots-Training Camp Ed Wolfstein-USA TODAY Sports

Wow, time flies by quickly! It seems like just yesterday that the New England Patriots racked up their (counts) sixth Super Bowl since 2001, and now we’re only a week away from the first preseason game of the 2019 season.

Who else is ready for some football?

The Patriots training camp is in full swing and there are plenty of camp battles worth watching, and the better players will separate from the pack over the coming weeks. Which positions are you most exciting to watch during these preseason games?

Is it wide receiver, with Maurice Harris and Jakobi Meyers fighting for time with Phillip Dorsett and N’Keal Harry?

Or is it on the defensive line, where Danny Shelton, Elandon Roberts, Derek Rivers, and Keionta Davis will jockey for playing time along a quietly stacked defensive front seven?

Maybe you’re interested in the ridiculous depth at defensive back (will 2018 second round pick Duke Dawson make the roster?) or the incredible lack of proven production at tight end (honestly, should the Patriots just keep one tight end and use the other roster spots on receivers or running backs?).

Alec and Rich cover it all. This podcast is available in the iTunes store, Stitcher, TuneIn, BluBrry, Podcast Mirror and via RSS Feed. Please subscribe and comment on what you want to hear about in future podcasts!
