When you think about ways to visually express your New England Patriots fandom, the first that come to mind are probably jerseys, caps or hoodies with their sleeves cut off. Shoes are generally not regarded as an integral part of representation — even though the Patriots and team owner Robert Kraft, for example, have a history of teaming up with Nike to produce shoes that are sold for charitable purposes.
Kraft’s Air Force Ones are not the only cooperation between the world’s most successful football team and its leading producer of athletic apparel and footwear. After all, the company also produces NFL-themed shoes every year: in 2019, the Patriots are again part of this process (as are 21 other teams all over the league).
